Bob Marley Biopic 'One Love' to Be Released in January 2024

A new biopic about the life of Bob Marley is set to be released in theaters on January 12, 2024. A new biopic about the life of Bob Marley is set to be released in theaters on January 12, 2024. The film, titled “One Love,” is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, who also helmed the critically acclaimed film “King Richard.”

The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley, with Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley. It focuses on the period after Marley’s 1976 assassination attempt, as he prepares to return to Jamaica in 1978 for the One Love Peace Concert.

The film also features a number of other well-known actors, including:

James Norton as Bunny Wailer
Kaya Scodelario as Cindy Breakspeare
Shaun Parkes as Neville Garrick
Cedella Marley as herself
Ziggy Marley as himself
“One Love” is produced by Ziggy Marley, Cedella Marley, and Rita Marley, along with Robert Teitel. The film is being distributed by Paramount Pictures.

The first trailer for the film was released in July 2023, and it has already generated a lot of excitement among Marley fans. The trailer shows Ben-Adir bringing Marley to life, and it also features some of Marley’s most iconic songs, such as “No Woman, No Cry” and “One Love/People Get Ready.”

“One Love” is sure to be a must-see for fans of Marley and reggae music. It is a film that will celebrate Marley’s life and legacy, and it will also be a powerful reminder of the importance of peace and love.
