Multiple award-winning tech professional, cybersecurity adviser, conference speaker and author, Dr Fene Osakwe, has been named alongside 99 other global leaders from over 20 countries as the Top 100 inspiring personalities globally.

The recognized leaders include CEOs, Honorable Ambassadors, Serial Entrepreneurs and Managing Directors. They were selected based on the excellent leadership they have exhibited in various domains, deep knowledge and diverse experience in their industry and the positive impact of their work on a global scale.

Dr Fene Osakwe has had a consistent track record of successfully impacting business growth metrics, as well as personal and professional achievements and honours internationally. With a powerful people-first approach, he mentors hundreds of career professionals, helping them rise from fresh graduates to executive management in less than ten years.

He has a true sense of community. His professional profile and an assortment of badging options spark growth and reflect his passion for other people’s personal and professional development.

In 2021, Dr Osakwe was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration (Leadership and Innovation) from the Swiss School of Business Geneva for his exceptional leadership skills and continuous innovation.

In June 2022, Dr Osakwe joined the exclusive Forbes Technology Council – an invitation-only community for world-class CIOs, CTOs, and technology executives, making him one of the few professionals to make the Tech Council in their 30s. Dr Fene was vetted and selected by a review committee based on his depth, diversity and wealth of experience in Information Technology and Cyber Security.

In August 2022, HEIDNES Magazine International recognized Dr Osakwe as Africa’s Most Sought-after Cybersecurity Advisor. Having consulted for several financial institutions, telecoms, fintech companies, private universities and state governments in Nigeria. He holds over ten internationally recognized professional IT certifications.

He is an advisory board member of several organizations within and outside Africa. One of which is Creditaid, an SME-focused financial institution enabling SMEs in Lagos, Nigeria, to access funds for their businesses. They have supported over 500 SMEs with funding within the last eight months.

He is also presently a Director at IHS Towers, overseeing IT Governance, Risk and Compliance across 12 countries. He is the only Nigerian to make this year’s list.
