Many things are important to people but food is perhaps the most important; it brings people from different cultural backgrounds together for satisfaction. When this extremely important thing to humans is combined with comedy, it becomes one of the most exciting events around the world.
Set to premiere on December 2, Taste And Tell UK, put together by My Smart Group will thrill fans with delicious dishes, comedy, and entertainment. A food talk show fused with comedy, the programme is set to be one of the biggest online TV shows which can be accessed through all social media channels and various TV stations. The show aims to encourage travel through the love of food. Hosting some of the biggest names in the comedy industry, it also combines laughter to make it even more entertaining and memorable.
According to the organisers, Taste and Tell UK aims to ignite the love for travelling and discovering new places in people.
“Sometimes, all one needs to hit the road and visit a new place is knowledge of the food that can be found there. Just like the passion for football brings the world together, the love for food and comedy will also bring people together and create awareness of all types of food around the world. This will promote unity between different cultures and educate people (through food) on places they know little or nothing about,” organisers said.
For starters, a wide range of dishes from different parts of the world will be sampled by interesting people who can express (in words) what they feel in their taste buds.
“When an average person talks about how they feel about a certain dish, it may be regular but when a comedian with huge followership talks about the same, it is funny, interesting, and entertaining. By following this show, there’s no doubt that one will be yearning to visit the country where the various foods being sampled originate from. It’s a great way to drive tourism.”
However, Taste and Tell Uk is not just about giving reviews about the food being sampled, it is a way to open the discussion about a place. After every sampling, the hosts will discuss extensively where the food originated, how they feel tasting the food and other fun subjects like the possibility of visiting the country or even dating somebody from there. While most discussions will be centred on the dishes and their originating countries, guests will also be allowed to talk about each other occasionally. This will make the discussion even more interesting as it is an opportunity for fans to learn new and interesting things about some of their favourite celebrities.
While comedian Bello Khabir and fashion model Ndey Manneh will be main host, the show will also invite some of your favourite celebrities and a host of other guests.
“Plenty of shows are usually held throughout the year, but Taste and Tell UK is unique and one not to miss out on. The event will be broadcasted on social media platforms Monthly and it will even be available on TV in the future,” the organisers said.
